It’s official! It’s a done deal! I voted today!

I like this whole vote-by-mail thing.  Although with all the lunatic McCain supporters, I have to admit that I did hand-deliver my vote for Barack Obama and Joe Biden to the Registrar of Voters.

I did, however, scan in my ballot before I turned it in for your viewing pleasure:

Just in case you are wondering I am a white woman and I am voting for Barack Obama and Joe Biden because I think they are the best team for the job.  My choice has absolutely nothing to do with their race or gender.  They are smart, complement each other’s skill sets well as a team, and are level-headed and graceful.  Plus they are NOT warmongers and will be a boost to America’s image around the world, and that in turn will help our economy.

I am NOT voting for McCain and Palin because in a nutshell:

a) I think McCain is too old, too angry, has poor judgment and, quite frankly, not smart enough for the job

b) Sarah Palin is an extremist, right-wing, bible-beating, power-hungry liar–and I am being kind here

c) McCain and Palin would both like us to enter into more wars, and no one needs that

Obama’s not bringing the troops home though- he just going to move them further east into Afghanistan right?

No, actually he is for a gradual, methodical withdrawl of the troops. He feels that we should take much greater care on getting out of there than how we went in.

Yes, like I said he’s for a withdrawl from Iraq but he wants to increase the number of troops in Afganistan – right? Obama has backslid quite a bit on his foreign policy regarding Iraq the last 8 months.

Both Obama and McCain are not all that different on this issue. Ralph Nader and Bob Barr are the candidates who want to actually bring the highest % of troops home.

We don’t know everything there is to know. And I’m sure that Obama and McCain are privy to more information than Nader and Barr are.

Regarding the difference between Obama and McCain, I think it is vast. McCain’s entire self-identity is tied to war.

McCain identity is tied to war? If that is a fair way to judge his economic policy (it’s not) then is it fair to judge Obama as…..ACORN Activist?

Again, i’m saying the difference between Obama and McCain when it comes to Iraq isn’t all that vast.
