I just discovered this site (http://intrade.com).  They are “predictors” and you can buy or sell based on a specific subject.  Right now the subjects on the front page include the U.S. economy, the U.S. election, the U.K. economy, oil futures, and a helluva lot more.

Again, interesting stuff, presented in a different way.  Worth a look.

Now, I’m going to roast a chicken with garlic, lemon and rosemary, accompanied by au gratin potatoes and steamed broccoli.
