While I see the humor of the juxtaposition (especially in “It’s pretty brutal”) I fail to see what the censors were trying to hide. I’m a city kid who doesn’t like gory movies, but I saw nothing there to put me off my breakfast. The expurgated version was actually more disturbing, because my imagination viciously outstripped the reality.
